before the forearm forklift there was "refrigerator straps" (same thing). it's how a single guy carries a refrigerator without having to completely empty it. given a soggy lawn to go across, it's a lot easier than strapping a fridge to a dolly or hand truck believe it or not.

I believe you are right RNeiswander. The tank dimensions are 48w x 24d x 31h. So that makes it a 150

yeah I hope so too... the floor here is made of those wooden i-beams. Also i have it right next to an exterior wall. I think it will hold.
Its full and it hasn't fallen through the floor. The 2 fluval 405's are scrubbing away on my muddy water. I'll post a pic tomorrow.
So the seller gave me an acropolis with the tank. I turned it upside down and covered it with dirt and sand. I am hoping this will be a nice cave for stuff to live in. It will have the added benefit of giving me some planting spots that are closer to the light. Now to figure out what to do with the other side of the aquarium.
