i got to the bottom of a 110 high with CFL lighting....
getting my arm to the bottom was harder.

i liked canister over HOB for simple things like not having it against the wall, being able to keep it under the tank, etc
BUT the head pressure reduction on the canisters was always annoying

A 4ft 110g.. That's a full-out wet-suit required body soaker right there, trying to reach bottom. LOL!

i had to buy a step ladder, the stand i had built was ~ 34" high

beautiful setup to stand and look at, no need to bend down, but PIA to maintain. i would get water in my ear sometimes

LOL! Yep.

I've got my 75g on a Titan EZE stand that's very tall in itself, and is rated for 75/90/110g tanks. I marvel at those that would set a 90/110 on them, because the 75 is over 60" from floor to top of tank.

Like you say, awesome for viewing, but maintenance can be a bit on the moist side.
