Me too, since I'm leaning towards doing red turquoise discus in a drip system. I'm wondering if you could feed in RO water and dose RO Right and Prime together?

sorry to dig up an old thread....the prime dilution rate would be 1 to 80? so that would be about 8oz per 5 gallons?

Nope, for Neoprodigy's rig, the prime is diluted 1:80 by you. This mixture then goes through a dosing pump that doses 1:500. This brings the actual dosing rate to 1:40,000

Prime dose is 1ml/10gal. This makes 1L of prime treat 10,000gal of water. 10,000gal of water is ~40,000L.

thats what i meant....1 part prime to 80 parts distilled/ro water for the tank that the dosing pump draws from....which would be 8oz prime for 5 gallons of distilled water.....its beside the point anyway, decided to go with a filter for the chloramines, which i have been assured that as long as my flow is under 6 or 7gph i will be ok
