Great Pics!!! I agree with 80gJoe. I too really like the logs around the edges. It's completely different from what you you normally see. You mostly see slate around the edges. I still haven't figured out what I'm going to do with my edges.

Thanks. I was actually very fortunate to have the logs - I needed something to cover the liner at the edges, thinking I would probably do it with the conventional paving, slate or plants growing over - but then I remembered that the church next to where I live had had a large tree cut back, and I was promised as many logs as I wanted - so round I went and got my share. 
. I'm hoping the plants will grow over the logs as well - but the pond was only converted fully earlier this year, so that hasnt happened yet.
