eugenet AC Members Oct 30, 2006 87 0 6 46 Tennessee May 27, 2007 #2 Probably just grazing algae off the glass, but have you tested your water lately and made sure what your ammonia, nitrite and nitrates are? Some snails will head for the surface if the water quality is bad.
