Unfortunitly we have been very busy the last week and lost all of our chances to make it out to the ocean tog et some rocks for cave building and our poor 4 yellow labs had to suffer out in the open for a full week. Thankfully today we put everything else off and went and got about 8 tiems too many rocks, but better to have more than enoug than to little, just a saved trip for when the next tank gets set-up, or if we want to add some caves.

Definitely not too many.

yup not too many at all.

its a bit counter-intuitive...the more hiding spaces they have the happier they will be to come out and swim around in a natural way - because they know they have somewhere to retreat too if threatened.

Looks good......:grinyes:

Not to many in the tank, but I still about about 30 rocks left over. Would of liked to work a few more into the tank, but dont want to risk a bad collapse.

very understandable. stack carefully and you'll be fine - I find that trying to artificially create caves can lead to instability, whereas if you just stack rocks together almost like they would fall that way, with the right rocks, you inherently create caves etc.

Wow, that looks really cool...great job MND...great job...:headbang2: :mwave:  :tropicalfish:
