Just thought I would share the outcome of this little project.

The first pic is the PVC used. One 1/2" tube and one drain cap with the threads cut off and a hole drilled in the end as the base. Nothing was used to connect the pieces, just friction and gravity.
Nothing more than holes drilled in the rocks and then stacking them on the tube.

The second pic is the finished product. I plan on making two more once I get the rest of my LR.

Looks awesome. :D I can't wait for my LR to arrive...should be here around the 12th.

Very interesting and something I think I might try out as I don't like all of the rock pieces that I do have.. I have been searching for a cheap supplier but this looks like the cats meow so to speak..

I even have some left over sand from the tank and think I might have to go out next weekend and give this a try.. My only problem is that I also live in an apartment.. Might have to hit up a friend who has an outside water supply..
