I have a betta, red female swordtail, and 4 loach(loach going to bigger homes in a year or two when they start to grow.)
Question:
What goes with well?

Would they move a little too fast for my betta(Even for a very active betta)?

Not in my opinion. You could do with a group of rummy-nose tetras but just a side note, they can be difficult on transport although if acclimated, they are totally worth it. You can't go wrong with some harlequin or hengeli rasboras.

What about more swordtails and/or some colorful platies? They seem to love to hang out together and get along so well with other fish.

swordtails have a habbit of becomeing nippy as they age. probably wouldnt be the best tankmate for a betta.

try some lemon tetras.
