Angels and Ram cichlid: compatible or not

I am starting a community tank and was wondering if ram's and angels are compatible

for the most part yes.

angels tend to like water a bit cooler than GBR(ramirez) but the bolivian(altispinosa) likes the same condtions as the angels.

also keep in mind they are cichlids so every once in awhile they bicker..but for the most part they get along fine(as long as the tank is large enough)

you should be fine..the angels usually occupy the middle to upper portion of the tank rams tend to stay near the bottom.
