tell me the best fishes to be in both tanks pls. then ill restock it, il giv the current fishes to the lfs. but ill keep the sen , eel n turtle + lobster

:omg: Is this a joke??
If not, please return all these fish as soon as possible! The people here will help you with proper stocking...

The only fish that you can keep are either the pair of dwarf gouramis in the 15 in. tank, OR the pair of mollies, plus a few other small fish... How many gallons is that tank? Everything else must go.

oook ill wait till i get a proper stocking list then.

Second tank is a five gal?.
List of fish I think is ok with these tanks:
Molly
Pleco, depending on species.
Dwarf gourami.

As for the ones you plan to keep:
Edit: a quick google search tells me the sen. poly needs a thirty gal tank min.
What little I know about turtles is that they need 20+gal.
I haven't a clue if the yabbie/crayfish is ok, but they need to be housed alone/not with fish.

Good thing you are re-homing others as the alligator gar is challenging to keep even for a public aquarium.

have you considered a larger tank?

I agree- you should definately invest in a bigger tank.

Alligator gars get 10 feet long, from what I've read. I don't think anyone on MFK has them. They're a huge gamefish, and they'd ttake care of everything in that tank, even the spiky pleco.

The Bichir will get 14-18", 100g minimum. It could probably swallow the eel too.

The pleco will need a 125-150g minimum too, they can grow up to 20".

As far as I know on the eel, they get 7-10", so a 20 long would be a fair minimum.

The sliders get huge, and I mean HUGE. At least 2 feet, maybe bigger. They live quite a while, and dirty water instantly. I think they like fish snacks too.

The yabbie will get around 8-10", which is way too big for a tiny tank like that. 20g long minimum, and it'd eat fish.

Blue zebras are cichlids, AKA they'd tear apart the molly, DG, and if the yabbie was smaller than it, probably it too. They also need about 55g minimum, like all africans. They need lots of their kind, they're agressive with them but aren't well without.

The molly and DGs are really the only thing you can keep on either of these lists, be careful with the DGs, try for 2 females or only get 1. Males will fight.

If you want to keep the turtles, build them a pond. Get a 30g for the eel, and a 20g for the lobster. The senegal would be okay in a 100-125g.

Are the people at MFK really like that? I mean, if they actually banned you for asking for help/opinions on stocking, there's a few 4 letter words I'd be willing to add in here.

wow. please please please do some homework first. how do those fish even fit in the tank!?!?!

Really though... Especially 3 turtles in a 15g, not to mention the others. Do you have an island for them? They need that, even if it won't be long until you take them back, they need to bask.

Btw, want to add to my above post; Turtles are demanding, messy, and can be delicate. They need an extremely verried diet, including vegetables, fruits, and high quality turtle sticks. They will take up a lot of time.

So what size are these now? What pleco do you have? A blue zebra is not generally a community fish nor is the crayfish. Expect the crayfish to kill your fish soon enough. The same thing can be said with the turtle.
