Well I bought a pair of Ctenopoma Acutirostre (aka Spotted ctenopoma) They are in the same tank with four Synodontis Nigriventris (aka Upsidedown Catfish) and four Xenomystus Nigri (aka African Knife Fish).
So far everyone seems quite happy. The cats travel from stump to stump, The knife fish patrol the lower part of the tank and the new additions have been hanging around the middle of the tank near the large driftwood arch.
I tossed in some guppies yesterday and the Ctenopoma's were fun to watch them "sneak" up to the guppies. After lights out, The Knife fish cleared out the rest of the guppies. They new arrivals also enjoyed the bloodworms today.
