This is my 29 gallon (freshwater of course). I have 7 Zebra danios, 4 gold and 4 of the silverish color, 1 common plecostomus, 1 elegant cory cat, and 1 Jack dempsey.

the dempsey (Jackal) is about 3 1/2 inches long, i dont know his exact age but ive had em for 2 months, got em when he was about 2 inches long.

My pleco (Sarge) is about 4-5 inches long, a little poop factory!
Danios dont have names, just the danios.
my cory (Cory, wasnt hard to pick his name:headshake2:) hes about an inch or 2 long.

i couldnt get good pics of my cory or my pleco. if i happen to get a few good shots while their out in the open i'll post em.:headbang2:

interesting. do you have a bigger tank for when your fish grow up? they are just babies now. . .

I assume you have a bigger tank waiting for the dempsey and pleco as they grow?? Pleco will get over a foot long, and huge, and a definite poop machine. Dempsey will get to 10 inches or so and will almost certainly kill everything else in the tank but the pleco - they are extremely territorial and aggressive, and a tank that small doesn't even have enough territory for 1 adult Dempsey, much less anything else!

4 + 4 = 7? lol, I'm just messing with ya, I know what you mean.

But in all seriousness yeah, you'll be needing a bigger tank for the pleco and the JD. Plecos get very large and JD's get very aggressive. Your danios and cory will eventually become food for the JD when he gets big enough.

Just out of curiosity, when you said "Valhalla" in the title are you referring to Halo 3?

valhalla; hall of the slain
from wikipedia:
"Here, every day, the slain warriors who will assist Odin in Ragnarök, the gods' final conflict with the giants, arm themselves for battle and ride forth by the thousands to engage in combat on the plains of Asgard. Those who die in the fighting will be brought back to life. At night, they return to Valhalla to feast"

that explains the skull. . . .

LOL...they will get bigger so i suggest you start investing in a new tank

indeed yes i do know they get bigger. theres a pet store near me that will take them once they get too big.

Olive- yes i do know what Valhalla is, seen as my gods live there:headshake2:

TMdragon- i had 8 earlier in the week, i forgot one jumped out while i was gone. my brain malfunctions like everyone else's.
And no TM, its for what Olive said. I believe in the Old norse religion, all other religions make no sense to me, but thats a discussion not for this thread.

yes yes i know all of this, i got him from a friend who had him in a 10 gallon.
as i said in this post there is a place that will take em when they both get too big........... ive had people on other forums tell me this same info.
as far as investing in a new tank, i dont have the room anywhere in my house for anything bigger than a 29.
