Ok, this is another, what is this, and how do i get rid of it.
This algae is like a paper thin green blanket. I can easily peel it off of the driftwood, but it comes back the next day..

cyanobacteria aka: blue green algae

you need to do a lot of water changes and a lot of manually removing the stuff to get rid of it. the most drastic thing to do is to treat the tank (after you remove the fish) with erithromyacin (an antibiotic). it will kill off the cyanobacteria, but it will also kill off most of your good bacteria in your gravel and filter. you would then have to recycle your tank

Looks like a nice crop of Blue Green algae. Read about it near the bottom of this page

When I had it I killed it with Erythromycin (Maracyn)

I dunno if that is BGA....sure test is next time you take some off the drift wood. sniff it ans see if it smells horrible. If it does its BGA.

Is this a new piece of driftwood? If so its really common to get a slime on it.

Slime?

You can try a 3 day black out. Cover the tank completely with trash bags.

I have cyano sometimes in a plant tank when the nitrates stay at 0 & I forget ferts. It likes areas of low flow too.

Well, With a little help on the chat, we have determined this to be BGA.
I have removed as much as possible from the tank, and turned on my UV sterilizer.
I have also begun treating the tank with 1/2 dose Maracyn.
6 packets in my 125.
hopefully it clears up.
