Here is an updated pic as of now of my 125 gallon tank. I have had co2 in it for about 2 weeks and it has done wonders. Also, I added 2 new rams to my tank. I now have 6, 2 bolivians, 2 german blues, 1 german gold, and one so called columbian ram. Apparently, My new german blue female paired up with my german gold male. The last pic is the male. They have chased everyone away from the java fern on the right side of the tank. I looked through the top and I can see eggs on a java fern leaf. I am just waiting to see what will happen. What is the chance that some babies will survive in a big, densely planted tank to be adults?

Thanks, and yeah, it is. It is extemely thick. I have cherry shrimp and they love it. I am trying to get it started on the left as well. I have a dream of it someday going all they way across the tank. As fast as it grows though, it might not take that long.

The tank is so densely planted that they do fine. I have even seen tiny babies every now and then. They hide alot in the HM and java moss I have in there. That HM is so densely planted that my kuhli loaches have a hard time getting through it.

It wasn't originally supposed to be a ram tank. But I wanted some kind of show fish that wouldn't see my small tetras as dinner. I have always loved rams but until now i was never able to keep German blues alive. It is kind of ironic actually, the first german blues I am able to keep alive end up breeding, lol.

if you have eggs you will know about babies in2 to 3 days mine took that longthey have been hatched for 9 days now ps if you dont separate you may lose a few fry also mom and dad do become aggresive and may attack other fish mine were so aggresive that they attacked my hand when doing maintenance good luck with the babies tho
