New baby!

I'm fairly new to the forums here and I hang out in the Newbie FW and General FW forums. I posted a while ago about being pregnant and going overdue. Well, the little babe decided to make his appearance 10 days ago.

Awesome home birth in water, about 2.5 hours of labor. It was a really incredible birth!

So, if you're a sucker for cute babies....here you go:

About 6 hours old:

His name is Carter. He was a robust kiddo! 8 lbs, 14 oz. He's my third and largest baby. I also went two weeks past my estimated due date and I'm sure of the dates.

I love the water for birthing! I labored in the tub with my first and really loved how relaxing it was. My second came bit aearly and I didn't have the tub prepared. I fully planned the waterbirth with this one and it was great.

I'm one who finds labor and birth a wonderful experience. Not painful, just intense.

I'm sad to say this one is our last most likely. I keep joking with my husband that we can have three and an "oops". We actually only planned to have two and after two, I so wanted another one so we had three! I love birth and newborns...but then they turn into tyranical three year olds and such.....and then there is the college tuition to think about....
