This is allll I have. :O

I'm thinking about a carpet of riccia would look awesome

looks like your setup is good for riccia, you might want to dose some ferts whether it be trace or NPK. Also with that lighting make sure that the carbon is always at the right level in the tank or else you will be seeing bba growing on lower parts of it. How tall is the tank??
I had riccia on the bottom of my 10g before and once i got really bushy the bottom started dying off, so best suggestion is trim it weekly.

18 inches tall. What is NPK by the way?

nitrogen, potassium, phosphorus

I noticed that when i was dosing NPK + Flourish + Iron + CO2 my riccia grew fast, there was more dense branching and the color was nice and green, as opposed to when there was none of those factors but the co2, my riccia became a different shade of green, the branches became larger and just looked weird.

Ahh... So trace contains nitrogen, potassium, and phosphorus?

trace does contain those things but its a very small %, trace is used to supply the tank with micro nutrients like Ca, Mg, B, Cl, Fe. But to get a full effect of NPK one should dose the actual ferts for it

Example:

Regular Flourish
Nitrogen .07%
Phosphate .01%
Potassium .37%
+++ others

Flourish Nitrogen - 1.5% (+2% potassium)

Flourish Phosphorous - .3% (+.2% potassium)

Flourish Potassium - 5.8%

Should I buy them all separately?
