you need 2.5 gallon water jug then open one end... put any media you want... then pump water into it...

The first pic says it all. Put some egg crate on top of the tank. Put water jug on top. pump water into the top of jug and out the spigot through the egg crate back into the tank.
Very practical and very ghetto. When looks aren't important or in a pinch this should fit the bill.
