Do magnetic algae scrapers work very well???
i wqould be careful with kitchen sponges. all that i have seen say right on the package: "do not use in aquariums" or "not for aquarium use"Nope.... I've found they never get enough traction on the more common types of algae like green spot. I prefer to use the non-scratch kitchen sponges. With gentle circular movements that won't etch the glass, even stubborn algae comes off well.
