My Endler is trying to mate with my platy.

....They're different genus fish, I didn't even think a male Endler would try for a female more than twice his size. She doesn't even look like an Endler.
Wicked odd for an Endler to be sexing up a platy, don't you think?
 
It's funny though, the male platy occasionally follows her, but doesn't actively try to mate. Perhaps the Endler could teach him something.
 
Those Endlers only do two things, eat and procreate. I had one male who tried to mate with a dwarf threadfin rainbow fish for a few days.
 
hehe, apple snails are the same way. The males don't care who/what sex it is, they are just focused on the task at hand.
