Here is my 2 feet tank, my test kit, and so on..
Please dont bother the pipe in the tank, I will remove them and replace the water in there...

For the time being, help is needed, I make a threat here..

the livestock will be shrimp, snail and plant, maybe 1 or 2 otos

awesome! just a suggestion, for the otos I would get about 1 or 2 more...and they do best in mature tanks so you may have to wait a while until you get them.

maybe not so good when you see this :silly:
have just added the first layer.. it is sand..

there's dirt everywhere, I should have washed them at the first place..
I think I have to do 100% WC everyday until it is not so dirty and I will continue to add the second layer of soil..

Should I keep my filter running?
Basically I use powerhead combine with sponge

Turn your filter off and keep doing water changes (today) until it has cleared.

I agree...turn off the filter. You can change the water if you want to speed it up otherwise it should settle on its own...

just keep up with the water changes. chances are if you dont take all of the dust out now, it will just get stirred up when you put in more water

agreed, discontinue filter until it settles. I ruined a magnet on a Mag 350 because I let sand get into the impeller area, as such, its quiet sometimes, not quiet other times.
