Does Anybody Buy Plants Online ?!?

I have no local sources for quality plants. So I buy from forum members, occasionally Liveaquaria.com and aquariumplants.com if they have good specials.

Aquariumplants is great, but they certainly aren't the only people doing good business online. They have really good customer service, but the shipping is killer. Most plants you can probably source through this site. Its just getting a large amount of different plants at the same place. If you cant find what youre looking for here, theres always aquabid, (the sellers lotsoffish and bayleesfishees both rock my socks off) or the web, where aquabotanic.com is another great alternative.

I have been looking at aquariumplants.com - have the plants you rcvd from them been good?

Their site seems hard to find what you are looking for. Perhaps I am missing something.

I received a handful of plants from them. They all arrived in good condition, but 3/5 were in their emersed forms. i know this is generally the standard for these larger companies, but it can be a bit frustrating waiting for them to convert to their submerged form. If I were to do it all over, I'd definitely order from other hobbyists on this and other forums.

I bought my plants from aquariumplants.com and was satisfied with my order. They shipped quickly and all the plants arrived snail-free and in good condition. Some of the plants(my Crypt. wendtiis) seemed rather dinky, but many of the other plants had lots of offshoots/daughter plants. I think they try and balance it all out...

The only reason I ordered from them instead of a fellow hobbyist is because I would have had to order from about 3-5 different people to get all of the plants I wanted... that would have eaten up any dollars I would have saved on the plants.
