Where do I fit a starter motor for a Rio 400?

Both lights have failed in my Juwel Rio 400. I have found a website in UK that can supply the starter motor (assuming this is the fault) but I cannot find any slot, catch or any thing where I can gain access to fit it. Several people have said it is a sealed unit as indeed it looks to me, but if these parts are being offered for sale there must be a way to fit them.

Both tubes have failed together, one of them only replaced a month ago, so I am sure it is not the tubes. The starter motor seems the likely cause but I need to find it!

Thanks

Andrew

andrew, the ballasts on the juwel rio range are notorious for failing

you can try the starter but my guess is the ballast is gone...your looking at a hefty price for replacement - would suggest that if you rule out the starter then don't replace the balast, go for an Arcadia Overtank Luminaire instead, or something else

assume its and old t8 setup right? the new juwel rio range comes with HO T5 as standard and the ballast is more robust

When i used to have a juwel rio tank i found that when one bulb stops working it stops them both from working, try replacing the older bulb and see if it works then.
