Hi all,
Had a major outbreak of what I think was the black beard algae. So I decided to rescape and get rid of all plants and substrate on the weekend.
I was using DIY CO2 (yeast/sugar reactor) in past, with a ceramic disk bell shaped thingy to distribute into tank. This over time was clogged and consumed with the algae outbreak, so I dipped into water/bleach to kill and clean the bell. This was quite a success however I believe there is still some bleach residue in the bell and am concerned in putting it back into tank.
Any suggestions on the safety aspect of reusing said bell, as it may be toxic to new setup?
Any help/advise would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers!
