Ok so here is a pic of what i want to do.Now what i don't get is the instructions on how the light connects to the ball extension. Here are there instructions.http://www.catalinaaquarium.com/information.php?info_id=20
Here is a pic of the ball extensions i got and how they have them

It doesn't make any sense why they have that piece attached to the string there:confused:.It doesn't say to do that in the instructions. The instructions just say to attach the wire from the light to the loop on the ball extension which doesn't seem safe at all

Most lights come with the wire adjustable zip adjustors.
Buy those.
They work better.

You just make a loop and use a small wire nut with a cylinder and hang the wire loop over the bar.

You can also drill right into the bar and zip the Wire up and down from there.

Coralife makes a wire hanger for the loop style, or some places sell the mounted bracket to drill directly into the conduit bar.
