My little betta tank

Looks like its off to a nice start. 
I like the black sand and black background, really helps the betta stand out. I would recommend checking into a different plant for the tank though... those particular plants are supposedly not aquatic, and will eventually rot underwater. I used to have a bunch of them, and now I have a single one I keep an eye on in my 55g tank.

Definitely a nice start!
And I agree on the plants...depending on the lighting you have a lot of options.

There is a stargate in my aquarium.
Looks like a nice setup for the little fella.
I agree with the others about the plants: those will fall apart eventually. Anubias or a java fern would be nice in there, plus the betta would have something to rest on or under. (They like resting on big leaves.)
