So I want to have a South American biotype aquarium. Here is what I have thought of (keep in mind that the ph is 7.0, hardness is 3, and nitrate is .25ppm):
4 angelfish
12 bleeding heart tetras
7 common hatchet fish
2 bolivian ram
2 blue ram
8 otos
What do you think?
The aquascaping goes as followed (keep in mind that I will use flourish excel, root tabs, and the proper fertilizers):
A large piece of driftwood with java fern on it and two amazon swords on both sides, some pieces of dwarf hairgrass on the far left and right of the aquarium and micro sword as ground cover. Some red lugweiga next to the amazon sword and then some anacharis or cabomba. Then there will be other plants and rocks. I will also have one 36" plastic plant floating on the top.
The filters I have are a AquaClear 70 powerhead and a large canister filter. Then I have one heater. I also have one flourescent bulb and one plant bulb under one hood. Then I have all my stuff to clean the tank.
I feed my fish a variety of stuff including live and frozen foods so don't care about the feeding section.
