Can you tell me what type of media you typically keep in the different baskets (in my case its a Fluval)for a planted tank with some fish...carbon, foam, Bio Max, extra carbon, polywool, pre-filter, ZeoCarb????

I use ceramic noodles, sponges and filter floss.

I use 10-20-30 micron foam, filter floss on top, and bioballs in the other baskets, I only use carbon if needed but thats is your choice.

the bottom 2 baskets are those ceramic tubes and the top basket is a spongey thing
