Went to my local fish club meeting tonight.. and this month it was hosted by one of the club members at her amazing home. Had to be a 3 Million Dollar house (not exaggerating)

anyway.. the reason the meeting was hosted there was mainly due to her 2500g Reef setup.. featuring a 4" Thick acrylic front viewing window (10ft by 10ft)... amazing stock list, and even a 75lb Giant Clam.

ENJOY!

Sorry for the bad picture quality (bad camera)... and for the date being out of whack (bad brain lol)

but I think it gets the point accross anyway.. THIS IS AN AWESOME TANK!

WOW.....that is a stunning reef, that clam is freaking huge....LOL....thank you very much for sharing this...

No problem lol.. I couldnt keep something this awesome to myself

Yeah the clam is massive... there is acctually 3 of them in there.. the other 2 are about 20-25lbs each

The big clam is under about 2-3 feet of water.. and she said when he closes he will acctually shoot water a foot out of the tank. she had to move him down a bit because he almost shot water on her lights once I guess

oh yeah BTW.. the front of the tank is made of 4 inch thick acrylic as I mentioned

The REST of the tank however is constructed out of 10" thick concrete encased with reebar

I was amazed at the construction of this tank-- if I were ever to do something like this.. I would definately follow a similar design

wow...that is sick, i couldn't imagine the power bill for that thing though.

I shudder to think what the lighting alone costed $$$$ Awfully neat tank though!!!!
