Here are some phots of the DIY stand and 30Gallon tank. Whats even better is when I made the drawings it was going to cost around $30 to build...well my husband had some left overs from projects here and there and this is what we put together. FOR FREE!!!! So my DIY stand cost nothing (other than our time) :thm:

I am hoping to paint it this weekend. I need to paint the top and trim pieces and well since we used left over paneling from a project that his friend had I am debating to paint that as well too. I am not sure. The trim pieces were already primed white. lol Now my dilemma is what color to paint?
well heres the pics anyhow...

the tank waiting for it's new home...( this is the tank I got along with filter, heater, decorations, test kits, python, everything but the kitchen sink for $20 )

thanks for peekin!

Nice Stand ..... Can't wait to see the tank up and running...

Looks like a killer project for sure , nice .

Thanks everyone. I ended up getting paint for the trim pieces and the top in a tan color like the sides. This way the trim wont stick out like a sore thumb. I don't know if I can actually paint that paneling or not. My intention was to paint it all and do black but I am in no mood to wait for the whole thing to get painted so I decided to do the top and trim and that way I hope to get the tank set up by tomorrow or Sunday!

Off to paint some more ;)
