Tank in the lounge, with the four occupants lining up for a photo...then for individual shots they all shied away! Black/gold oranda is Ory, comet (with a very short tail) Lucy, common Shillib and red-cap Ellie.
Ellie was rescued from a dirty bowl of disgusting water, then kept in the LFS for ages cos nobody wanted a fish with a raggedy tail. Her tail was also really bloodshot, and the membrane had bubbles in it, which I'd never seen before. She is generally looking a lot better than she did when I first got her, and it's been about two weeks - the tail has healed up loads and there are only a few bits out of it, and it's not so bloody shot either. The membrane is now fine, and she is active, eating fine, and got great personality.
