the spiral vals, do they "melt" from excel?

yes, they liikely will. I have never used excel so cannot say for certain though vals are listed as sensitive to excel.

ok.
The windelov plant, is that a fairly full kind of bushy type plant? it's hard to tell in the picture. I have slightly less than 2wpg in my 46 gallon. would it do good?

It will do fine in that. Its a relative of java fern, also called java lace fern. It has fronds on teh end of the fern leaves and would like being anchored to wood or decoration.

ok. Thanks for answering my questions. Unfortunatly I'm not a fan of java ferns at all so I don't know that i'd be happy with that plant. I like the look of bushy type plants. Currently I'm trying to find some more giant hygro or something similar and having no luck at all.

:nilly::nilly::nilly:YOU DOOOOO?????????? would you be willing to sell me some of the giant hygro?
