I need to identify this fish that I have

I need to identify this fish that I have. He is orange with tiny red spots. Looks like a cichlid of some type to me. I got him small, about 2" and now he is about 6". non aggressive and likes to hide when i come up to the tank. It favors blood worms, but will eat anything

It is a severum, I WANT that beautiful severum!!!! Maybe it's a young red spotted severum.

Yep, that is a nice fish. I have 3 that are similar, just less red spots. I don't have a pic here, but I may post one for you to compare to later.

I made it home for the night. Here is a picture of might, at about 4 inches. He is in a corner tank so the bent glass makes him look a little odd, but you can see it is basically the same fish you have, with a little different coloring!

I believe mine is a Gold Severum:

yup. its one of the newer 'super red' gold severums. basically, a normal gold bred with more red colouring.
