Spawn.....

I got a spawn from the koi/dark marble pair 2 days ago. This is an update pic that I took just a few minutes ago. It is the 2nd day, and they have not ate any eggs. :jaw: Their is about 30-40 white eggs, but all the rest are good. The parents are both fanning them, but the "mom"( dark marble), does most of the work. LOL!!! They normally eat them, but so far, they are still guarding, so I might have some wigglers soon.

BTW: I know I need to clean the tank. I planned on doing it 2 days ago, but they spawned before I had a chance. LOL!!! Somehow, it always works like that.

Thanks. They ate the eggs today. They were doing good, but the male started picking off the white eggs, and got carried away. Maybe next time then. I think they will parent raise once they spawn a few more times.
