I think i've decided to get back into the hobby. I'm open to any ideas really. Also, plants? Sand or gravel?

I would go with plants if you could. Depends on what kind of fish ya want in there really.
I have a 15 gal and stocked it with a couple guppies, and 4 black neons, seemed to do well.
