Got my wild caught pair of betta imbellis last Wednesday. The next day there was a bubble nest. 6 days later and I got babies!:headbang2:
All the fancy betta splendens are nice and all, but I really prefer my natural little jewel. Just look at him!

He is gorgeous. What does mama look like?
 
She's nice too. Pappa is guarding the babies so well that it's tough to get a picture of her. he also took a little nip out of her tail fin, so I'll wait until she's a little more presentable before I shoot her. She's dark with light tan vertical stripes, and the most beautiful blue green eyes!

Thank you. Been wanting an imbellis for years now. When I saw the pics on Aquabid, I just couldn't resist any longer. I'm one happy camper right now!
