I'm just upgraded the filtration on my tank to a canister filter so I no longer need my Emperor 400. The filter comes with everything needed, minus the filter inserts (I threw out the inserts that originally came with the filter and replaced them with sponge, filter fiber and bio-balls - I would have included this but I needed it for my canister filter).
