Adequete Lighting for a 125 gallon

What are the tank dementions?

Considering you will be having an anemone in your aquarium, and taking in mind the size of the aquarium, I would likely go with MH lighting. Since likely you will not be too serious with corals, 1, 250wt Iwasaki MH bulb w/ PFO HQI ballast, 24" reflector, disconnects and sockets would be great. This would be fine in the middle of the tank.

I recommend also supplying some Actinic lighting with that. 2, 110wt 03 Actinic VHO's would be great for this.

On a last note, please do some research on anemones before you go off and buy one!!! They are extremely difficult to keep alive in the aquarium!!

Have you ever heard of a Halite? (I think that is how it's spelled.) It was recommended by a man that services aquarium tanks. We are trying to set a 125gal and need to know what lighting is needed. What do you recommend?

I believe you are referring to Metal Halides. You first need to decide if your trying to start a reef tank. A fish only tnak does not require metal halide lighting. If you plan a reef, next you should decide what type of corals you plan to keep. sps hard corals will require metal halide lighting in a tank your size, soft corals could get by with CF or VHO. LPS hard corals IMHO could probably be done with either lighting method depending on the depth of your aquarium. I wiuld suggest you do some research into what you plan on keeping before purchasing a lighting system.
