Hey guys...

I decided to rearrange my living room, which unfortunately involved breaking down the puffer tank to move it about 12 feet. :thud: Figured I'd put up a pic or two since it's been a while since I updated this tank. The pics make it look like a mess, but there are 2 pretty good sized pieces of driftwood in there among the plants. I put in 6 red cherry shrimp about a month and a half ago hoping the puffers would eat them. When I emptied the tank, I found that two of them were berried. Apparently, my puffers don't like shrimp. I'm guessing they'll be happy enough to eat the babies when they hatch.

Any questions or comments always encouraged!

Nice! May I jokingly add that DP's do not deserve such a finely planted tank? :p:

Which hillstream species is that in the second pic?
Them's fightin' werds! :silly: lol

TBH I'm not sure what type of hilly is it. I inherited him from a friend who was going to flush him if I didn't take him. I was going to find him a new home, but then no one would take him. I know the tank isn't ideal for him, but he seems to be doing well for quite a long time now.

I don't hate your anubias skull. Very nice & jungly, good thing puffs don't need open swimming areas, LOL
Hehe... I've been working hard to make it uber-heavily planted. They seem to really like it that way!

And thanks for not hating the skull! It's the only thing I still have from my first tank and I'm not getting rid of it!!! :hitting:

Nice! I'd love a side-view to see how full the tank is. Nice green... Still loving that stem plant (left side). How many DP's do you have in there? Is that a 10g? The skull is almost unrecognizable covered by the anubias - get a bigger one! :p:

Actually, looking at these made me laugh a little. My friends may be right when they say my fish are an excuse to keep aquatic plants....

It's a 29 gallon with 5 DP's, a hillstream loach, a SA dwarf marbled catfish (microglanis poecillus), several amano shrimp and RCS. Thanks for the kind comments!

Nice! That's a good-sized tank... Lots of plants! I know what you mean... Fish & plants are a necessary component for me. I keep thinking "what else can I plant??" :p:
