Just filled with sand today added water amd a filter from my 29, the turbidity is still pretty bad but has only been filled for 5 hours, also planted some of my trimmings while i wait for the cycle to finish. Thinking i may do a school of Cardinals, Rasboras Het., some kulli loaches, california black worms, some type of cory havnt decided yet, open to suggestions.

If you have a canister filter that will polish the water, hook that up and that smog will be cleared up in a few hours :)

yea i thought about switching one of my canisters over to it for a day (Marineland C-360 or the Ehiem Pro Wet dry), but both the intanks are to long and would start sucking up the bed and i dont want to have to cut it or buy a shorter one for just polishing the water, ive got a penguin 350 on it so it should clear it out soon enough :)
 
yea no not consturcted lol, got it for free though saw it broken on the shelf they told me i could just have it and i used aquarium sealant to put it back together :)
