Ripariums: Reduce Nitrates and Other Pollutants with Easy-care Emergent Aquatic Plants

Hey everybody I am trying to clear some room and I have various riparium plants for sale. Some of them are already rooted in riparium hanging planters, while others are loose divisions. These are mainly houseplant-type riparium plants that will do fine either in an open-top or high-humidity riparium setup. I am going to work on getting a few pictures of the actual material that I have for sale, but this recent shot of my 55-gallon tank gives a good idea of what they include.

A planting with these would be a great way to give your fish some comforting live plants cover that will also remove nitrates and other toxins and beautify the whole aquarium display. All you need to do to grow riparium plants is raise your lights, or lower your water level.

Here is a partial list of the available material with prices:

  • Peace Lilies (Spathiphyllum sp.), various varieties - rooted divisions - $2-$5
  • Syngonium vine (Syngonium sp.) - established plants rooted in magnetic planter - $14
  • Syngonium vine - extablished plant rooted in suction cup planter - $9
  • Aluminum Plant (Pilea cardierei) - unrooted cuttings - $.75 each
  • Creeping Burhead Swordplant (Echinodorus cordifolius) - establihed plant in suction cup hanging planter - $11
Also ask me about used magnetic and suction cup model hanging planters.

These will ship via USPS Priority Mail. Shipping will start at about $6 and increase depending upon the number of plants in hanging planter (these are heavy).

Just send me a note or respond into this thread if you have any questions.

Riparium Accessories and Plants for CO2 Setup - Madison, WI - shipping

I am after a complete or near-complete CO2 setup and I hope to get one via trade. I need something for about 90 gallons of water.

I have all kinds of riparium accessories, a number of nice plants and a mountain of advice that I can offer. This would be a great opportunity to convert to a riparium display if you might have that in mind.

I still have a number of plants around here. I hope to move some more so that I can make some room. I have a few botanically unusual things too.

I can still make these plants and other available, either as sales or in trade for CO2 equipment stuff.

Just send me a note or respond into this thread if you ahve any questions about these plants.

I sent off one box of these plants, but I have more that I would like to move. Just send me a PM or respond into this thread if you have any questions.

I am still looking for CO2 stuff in trade also. I have a few things on the way, but it looks like I still need a regulator. A drop checker would be good too.

I still have a few more extra plants available, and I'm still looking for a CO2 regulator.
