Hello all,
I have in my currently in construction pond the "professional skimmer and water fall kit from petwarehouse ( http://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod_Display.cfm?siteid=7&pCatId=5337 ) does anyone have any experience with these? I have a little over 5000 gallons and only have the 3000 gallon model but I have an additional filter (not biofalls) with a uv bulb on it that is rated for 2500 gallons so I figured i would be ok. Any tips or sugguestions of mods or anything I can do to make these more effecient?
getting so excited for spring and ponding!

That looks like a very nice unit. Good luck with it. I built one...not nearly as pretty but effective...for my pond. One of those things where if I would have done my research, I probably could have bought one with much less hassle. Oh, but the experience....;)

sounds good,
ahh the experience, luckily for me this is pond number 2. I made a big pond and a small pond with a connecting stream at house that my brother and I bought. Now I am getting married and get to start a fresh in a new back yard! wahoo this time i will not make the same mistakes.
thanks,
tren
