Hi everyone
Well me and my husband have a daughter (Briana) that just turned 6. She really, really, REALLY wanted a pet so we bought her a 20 gallon tank and we all bought a few decorations and now have 3 dalmation mollies and a red dwarf african frog happily living in our home.
I find it funny that for both me and my husband, this is our first time ever having/owning fish. We feel so "lost" standing in the aisles - wondering if we truly need this or that.
I did my first 50% water change today and I think I did it right and everyone is still alive so I guess that's a good thing
I was reading other posts/threads before I posted and I see a lot of "do your research" as answers to questions posted...so here's my question: What book(s) out there specifically for dalmation molly's? So far I've been working off of free brochures from the store where we purchased everything and/or speaking with the folks who work there. I have test strips for amonia and then I have test strips that have 5 dots on them for all the different things but you know, I guess I must be a *silly girl* because I don't know what the results mean to the dalmation molly's and if I should be doing something because of the readings. The information at the PS is general freshwater aquarium and not specifically towards the molleys....
I am a little overwhelmed by all the posts and information on this site. I am trying to read through all of the different posts (I did a search for dalmation molley)...Anyway...ta ta and thanks for reading my post!
