These stones are produced by the rocky Canadian shores of the powerful North Atlantic ocean, where the wave action bangs these very solid peaces of Granite til they are spherical and the time tested firm ledges of Slate are thin and have well rounded edges. They are sun baked clean and I am able to collect them because we have the highest tides in the world, 40 feet high and much much longer horizontally.
They won't leach, dissolve, change the pH or scratch your fish.
The Slate is mostly around 6 or 7 inches long.
The Granite is mostly fist size but can be up to American bowling ball size or down to strawberry size if you like.
Shipping isn't as much as you might think. I believe you will get the most bang for your buck with mid sized stones.
I have lots and with more hard work I can get more. Just about any size or shape you want.
The stones are from a virgin clean ocean shore line, but as nothing penetrates them they are fine for freshwater as well with a quick rinse or you can sterilize them if you like.
I think $1.50/pound plus shipping is more than fair.
Its a labor of love for me and my physiotherapy.
I don't just grab any stones but pick out the best for your artistic presentation and your fish's physical and mental well being.
Your fish don't need the stress of homelessness.
It is easy to make caves that you can see into so you can enjoy your fish while they rest.
Fish feel much safer when there is places to swim threw to lose things chasing them.
I will have other types of smooth stones available when I have finished testing them to make sure they don't effect the water quality.
Any Custom requests are welcome.
These are the very best and when demand gets high I may need to raise the price.
Why have the bottom of your tank just look like the ocean floor when it can be it for real!
Please excuse me for my lack of photography skills. I haven't found where I turned off the windows' picture preview yet, so it is difficult to look threw all my blurry mistakes I took with my cheap pinhole "Canadian-Tire" camera. It has so little resolving power its hard to make it take color shots without blinding my fish! :feedback:

To ship them this way would be much cheaper.

What is the cost of a Canada Post-eBay Flat Rate Box shipping label created, purchased and printed through eBay's Online Shipping tool?
There are three flat rates for the Flat Rate Box shipping label:

  •
[*] C$8.66 for Regional shipments within Canada
[*] C$11.66 for National shipments within Canada
[*] C$18.49 for shipments to the United States

I think they have a medium sized flat rate box for sale on e-bay that contains more.
I wonder if e-bay also wants the contents to be listed there, that might be up to %12 of the price. If so, for $30 of stones it would only be an extra $3.60!
I am new at this, so please bear with me as we sort out the best way.
