hey :) my platy is looking bigger recently, i was wondering if its pregnant, if so how far along. And how long it might take til i get some fry, if it is :)

her tail looks bit up and her scales look kind of protrouding? Is she eating healthy and swimming normal? Hopefully it's just the pic, but it's hard to tell if she's pregnant if she is just make sure to have some floating plants in the tank so the fry can hide
 
yh the tail is a little bit up, but that was how she was when i got her from the shop, she is eating fine and swimming normally :)
 
I had a platy that looked like that! I miss her!

The scale protrusion looks more like her ribs. Her tail looks bent but that could be from just holding her from the net.

With livebeares, the term "Just add water" is often used because they are so easy to breed!
 
Probably pregnant, I have guppies so she looks pregnant to me lol. Good luck and welcome!!!
 
She probably is in the beginning stages of being pregnant. Maybe 1-2 weeks? You'll notice she will get fatter and a black gravid spot will develop near her anus.

exactly right. When she's about to burst (quite litterally) you will know.
