With the last few tanks that I've added I've been considering getting more dry ferts to mix up. I was wondering if there would be any interest on the forums for pre-mixed fertilizer solutions. I know there's a few sources out there for the products already, but perhaps some of the planted tank keepers would prefer to buy from a forum member?
What I was considering offering was 8oz or 16oz bottles of pre-mixed solutions. I've got a couple chemical suppliers locally so bulk MgSO4, K2SO4, KH2PO4 and KNO3 wouldn't be an issue.
Initially, I'll probably be offering just pre-mixed PMDD. Either as a pre-mixed, pre-measured powder, just add a specific quantity of water or as a pre-mixed solution in amber boston round style lab bottle. The pre-bottled will be a bit more because it'll include the cost of the bottle, but I'm offering it because that's how I'll be keeping mine.
If someone wanted a specific solution I could do that too, like separate N, P, K & Trace solutions, etc. I will probably be getting Ferrous Gluconate & Iron Chelate to keep on hand for Iron supplements.
Lets see if there's any interest and I'll put in my order for chemicals later in the week.
