Hi All,
I am a new member of Aquarium Central, but I am not new to the hobby. I have been a freshwater fish enthusist for 40 years, and have collected and kept a wide variety of small to medium sized fish through the years. I have successfully spawned several varieties, including Rainbowfish and fancy Goldfish - primarily lionheads and orandas.
I presently have a 55 gallon tank set-up dedicated primarily to rainbowfish of Australia and Papua New Guniea.
I have added a few smaller tank mates including cardinals, long-finned white clouds, hi-bred longfin zebra danios and a pair of Congo tetras.
I enjoy the rainbow spawning activity color flashes, in the morning especially, when they exhibit virtually every color of the rainbow, between the various varieties I have in the tank.
I look forward to reading the forums and finding other Rainbowfish enthusiasts like myself to trade stories and information with.
Best regards, Rainbow Kurt
