I originally got these fish from some of our own members here on AC and have been lucky enough to have a trio of breeding pairs! They are laying eggs frequently which is why I need to sell off some of the babies. These small plecos are not the same as an Ancistrus bristlenose pleco. The albino bristlenose Ancistrus grows quite a bit larger and has red eyes. The L-144 plecos that are offered here are amelanistic (not albino) and have dark eyes with yellow coloration of the body and grow only to about 4-5 inches in total length. They also grow somewhat slowly compared to other bristlenose species—at least that has been my experience. They are not aggressive and do not eat plants. The fish that are ready to go hatched out at the beginning of July and are from a long-finned male and a short finned female (the female has the long-finned gene) and range in size from about 1.25 inches to 2.25 inches in total length.

The Long finned babies are $15 each and the short finned babies are $8 each. All of the short finned babies are carriers of the long finned gene. Shipping is by USPS Priority mail at $12 with overnight available at additional cost if requested.

It's times like this that make me wish my tanks were already set up.
Once I do get my tanks up and running (still in the process of moving), I might have to take some of those off your hands (if you still have some in a month or so). :D

HA! Yes, Cichlidgirl91, I think that I'll have lots the way they keep reproducing. :evil_lol: I may have to seperate the males from the females.

:sim:

Fish still available :woot:
