auto dosing of fertilizers

I've used a daily fish feeder in the past, but it wasn't like that one, it was a hopper-type. I wound up overdosing by quite a bit. :(

Seems to me that if you were very careful on measuing each individual dose, you could get away with using the one you linked to.

For liquid ferts tho (like phosphates), I use a peristalic pump set outside and away from the tank. Works like a charm. If you could suspend your dry ferts in the water for the pump resevoir, you might be able to dose that way as well. I spent $80 for the pump @ DrsFoster.com, and it hooks up using airline tubing.
 
Thanks for your info. I’m still just looking around and when I up grade my light I will have to dose frets daily I think and just looking to make it easer. I’ll look into peristalic pump.
