Where would you rather live?

And I realize that Boston is on a fault line, potentially bigger than the San Adreas fault, but we haven't felt a big earthquake in a looong time....

I would have to say that I would rather live on the south shore (poipu) rather than tehe east side (Lihue). OK, I know that are only about 12 miles apart but hey. :D
 
The "weather unpredictable" is exactly like Michigan. Let's see, it rained about an inch yesterday, and today it's about 90 degrees and so dry.

We've had about 2.46 inches of rain this month! Thats June 1st - June 16th. Last month, at that date, it was 1.19 inches. We've had nothing but T-Storms all month, so....
 
You forgot predictable and no natural disasters. I'm dying to get back to the southwest (AZ,CO,NM) where the weather can be counted on to be decent most of the time.
 
I don't mind unpredicatable weather, and while I'm not thrilled with either tornadoes or earthquakes, I won't move just to avoid them. Wyoming has blizzards, sub-zero temps, some days in the 90's, howling winds, earthquakes and tornadoes...Keeps it exciting. :) Of all of them, I'd only change the wind--keeping it below 45 mph would be nice.

Colorado is nice, but sheesh, predictable? Where in CO were you? I've witnessed it go from 80 and calm to pouring rains and damaging winds in the course of an hour! All the places that I would like to live now have way too many people--or are too far onto the plains.
 
Hey have you ever seen those houses that they move? I don't mean when movers go in your house and move your furniture so that you can live somewhere else, I mean when they lift up the whole house and take it away. It's on like a flatbed that goes 8 mph and can only travel in certain times of the day. So, don't like the weather? Move your house somewhere else. Don't like the neighbors? Move. How great is that?

Allright, I admit I have seen storms come in and threaten to kill me at high speed. It all seems very pleasant when I sit here far away.

Here in MD it's predictably awful. Whether it's rainy and bad, icy and bad, or just hot and humid, you know it will suck.
