My Amazon sword grew too big to fit in my tank now (the leaves are 50cm tall and 5cm wide!) and I'll have to remove it (sell it). However, I think that will be a difficult task to do, because all Echinodoruses spread their roots everywhere and this plant was in my tank for over 2 years!
If I cut some roots here and there and leave it in the substrate, will that be a problem? I know they will eventually rot, but I have many plants in the tank and I guess that could be, like, beneficial? Or not? What do you say?
Thanks.
